The Mountain Club is the oldest climbing club in Maryland (since 1934) and the premier climbing team within the state. We are a volunteer organization this is targeted on hiking. We fortify Leave No Trace principles, and we work on each native trails and the Appalachian Trail. We organize and lead hikes and other outside activities such as camping, canoe / kayak journeys, and backpacking. We have a year-round time table with hikes in and round Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey and Delaware.
